Kimpton Canary Hotel – Revitalizing a Rooftop in Downtown Santa Barbara
Small in scale but nonetheless challenging, SB Evolution was tasked with enhancing the architecture of a downtown hotel from high atop its roof line. Terra cotta pots that complement the clay tiles of the roof add height and detail that is visible from the ground but can be enjoyed from the hotel’s outdoor lounge area. In the pots are dwarf size citrus trees that will lend height around the edge of the patio while providing a delightful aroma. The installation is a true Santa Barbara enhancement to this historic hotel!
