Santa Barbara Professional Landscaper Did A Landscape Cleanup
Video Transcription
This Jorge with SB Evolution Landscape providing you with all of your landscaping needs in Santa Barbara. Today we’re doing a landscape cleanup, mostly weed-whacking, pruning of trees, pruning of plants and then we whacking, I said already, yeah.
So we’re whacking, so we c as n expose all the weeds, do we can break all the bit over ti pur grass and then we’re gonna fall everything away and then after the whole cleanup is completed, we’re gonna do 2 herbicides treatments, we’re gonna do one immediately , when we’re finished with the cleanup and we’re gonna do another one between, I’d say about a week and a half, some can see and spray the weeds, that we did not initially spray in today’s surface.
So, the way we do these cleanups is I, you know, I email my client my proposal based on how many man-hours I think it’s gonna take, but basically it’s an estimate and for this particular project is a 20 man our job.
So my guys are gonna be here for, I got 2 guys working the jobsite.
So, 20 man-hours with a crew of 2 guys, that’s 10 hours each. Do, were gonna maximize that proposal I set my client if, I think the way tu things are going, it’s been about an hour, hour and half already. I think, we’re gonna definitely do a very good cleanup, but if the client wants a better cleanup after we’re done, then we could do, we put in more man-hours and, you know, charge extra for that time, that’s gonna take, but I think he’s gonna be very pleased with the work that we’re gonna be doing.
So, take a look around all the weeds, I’ll be taking another video and pictures once the job is completed and then another picture, you know, a couple weeks after our herbicide treatments have been in full effect.
So, take a look around, the yard here. That’s Ponciano up there on the weed whacker and them their ladder, they’re trimming that hedge over there.
As you can see, the weeds are pretty aggressive, but we’ll take care of it take care. We got this talk ladder, leave that right there. Let’s say about a 15 or 28 footer ladder there to trim that hedge. See all the weeds they’re right behind me, we’ll be taking ate of all that. So, it’s pretty aggressive with the weeds. But we’ve done this dozens and dozens of times and the best way to.do it really, is just we whack everything. So, we can expose the weeds to rake the weed rake most of the weeds not all of it, because it helps as a natural mulch layer for the ground and acting tou leave some of the weeds there. Actually prevents some of the weeds from going up. Because if have exposed dirt, the weedswill grow. But he has mulch here.
But there are some areas with exposed dirt, like about there.I recommend my clients to always put three to four inches of mulch. Once you get to about one inch or two inch of mulch. We need to put more mulch to make sure we constantly have 3 or 4 inches and that will prevent a lot of weeds from growing.
A really helps reduce the amount of weeds and any weeds that do grow and the 3-4 inch mulch layer, they’re easy to remove.
Take a look around. All the weeds in there and the planters. We’ll take care of it, everything’s gonna be weed forgetting a couple weeks. Here’s behind there more weeds, let me walk over there. So, we’ll whack everything in herbicide everything Holloway all the most of the weeds and grasses, see look over there.
All right, I’ll be back with another video soon and pictures after the job is completed. Have an amazing day, thank you.
